New Leaders Council

2016 Fellows Fundraiser

New Leaders Council is a self-sustaining national organization that trains and develops the next generation of progressive leaders and entrepreneurs. As fellows, we further developed our progressive leadership skills through a 5-month training program focused on entrepreneurship, advocacy, organizing and fundraising.

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of last year’s cohort, our class of fellows is fortunate to participate in a robust experience, including nationally-renowned speakers at our monthly seminars and training in key skills such as campaign management, communications, and community building.

It is now our turn to pay it forward to support next year’s class of progressive fellows. We are hosting our annual fundraiser – “Sacramento’s Got Talent” – on Wednesday, May 18th from 6-8pm at Goldfield Trading Post at 17th and J.

This fundraiser will not only raise money for NLC, but will spotlight the talent that Sacramento has to offer. There's something for everybody! Improv! Stand-up! Acoustic guitar! Two adorable hosts 2016 Fellows Sheva Tabatabainejad and Josh Bohannan with clever banter!
